The Kerala State Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Ltd. (Hantex) was established during the year 1961 and its being an apex organisation 300 primary societies throughout the state. The main objective of HANTEX is to support and upliftment of the handloom weavers of the state for production & Marketing of quality Handloom products. All across Kerala having 100 Showrooms, 2 Process houses. two Weaving factories in Trivandrum and Kannur providing employment and job protection for more than 2000 Weavers all over the state Both the factories are completely depending on human labour in order to maintain the Handloom quality. We have a production capacity of more than 1500 varieties of fabrics.
